FAQ

Before you hire me to document your special event, I want you to be 100% sure I'm the best fit for you! Here are some of the most popular questions I've been asked, but if there is anything else you'd like to clarify, feel free to reach out to me!

What services do you provide?

I currently specialize in music and portrait photography, but I also have experience photographing birthdays, festivals, wrap parties and more! So, if you're interested in having me document your special event, or something else not listed under my packages, just send me a message with your budget and details of the event so we can get something booked!

What equipment do you shoot with?

I currently shoot with a Canon 5D mark iii, a Sigma 20mm f1.4 lens, and a Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 ART lens, 2 Neewer Speedlights, and a variety of bizarre little items, used to alter my images creatively in-camera! I also have a full lighting studio (White or Black backdrop, backdrop stands, light stands, softboxes & umbrellas). If you're interested in getting headshots taken, or just want to switch up your shoot with some in-studio creativity, let me know when booking!

When/how do I pay for my photos?

Once we get a shoot officially in the books, I will ask clients to provide 25% of the full rate non-refundable via Paypal or Venmo. (This is not in addition to the agreed upon rate, it will credit toward the amount due on the day of the shoot. i.e. if you book a $100 shoot, $25 is due at booking and $75 is due on the day of the shoot.) On the day of the shoot, please bring the remaining amount in either cash, check, Paypal or Venmo. Unless otherwise agreed upon, I will not deliver any photos until full payment is received.

How will you deliver my photos?

Unless otherwise agreed upon, your photos will be organized in your own Dropbox folder and shared with your email so you will always have access to it! If we ever do another shoot, I'll continue to add folders (labeled with date and location) to your individual Dropbox folder. No watermarks or logos will be on the photos.

How long after the shoot will I receive my photos?

My turn around time varies by session, but I always do my best to get photos back to the client as soon as possible!

  • Live photos: up to 1-3 days after the show. I also aim to get a couple of my favorites edited and in your hands night-of so you have some great content to post right after your show!
  • Promos/Portraits/Couples: up to 1-2 weeks after the shoot.

Can I get the unedited photos/ Can you re-edit my photos?

Short answer: Nope! Please do not ask! I don't care if your parents really like photos in Sepia, or if you know someone who edits really well. The editing process is where I get to add my own personal style and flare, and insures that each photo I deliver is something I'm proud of! If you don't like the way I edit photos, I'm not the right photographer for you.

If you do have any simple requests that do not hinder my style (all black and white images, lots of bright colors, etc.) feel free to let me know BEFORE the shoot!

I don't live in LA! Can I still book you for a shoot?

Heck yeah you can! I absolutely love to travel and explore new places! I am always willing to book a destination shoot, be it as close as San Diego, or as far as Montreal, I would love to share that experience with you!
